The Sangoma Meet Application
The Sangoma Meet application is an extension that helps users create a new meeting on their Google Calendar in a few minutes.
This is made possible through a feature that allows the Sangoma Meet button to be added to the toolbar of the Google Calendar application. When this is done, a new Google Calendar event form will appear and can be used to add a new meeting to the calendar.
When this form is used, it will automatically insert a connection description that is needed in order to create the meeting on the Google Calendar.
For those who do not have the Sangoma Meet application installed on their device, the meeting will still be added to the calendar. However, this can take some time, as it will have to go through the web-based service. This time can vary depending on the Internet connection speed and the server capacity, but it can take a few minutes or up to a few hours.
Once the meeting is created, the participants can be added to the meeting as well, through the participants field in the event form.
The meeting duration, participants and start time are all configurable.
